Travel Tips- Rome

Its very easy to travel in Rome not as hard as it seems. There is art everywhere you go and fountains and massive sculptors to welcome you. Here are some tips for first timers in the Eternal city:

1. The metro in Rome in convenient and cheap. Use it.

2. Have lots of wine, its cheap.

3. Best way to see the Colloseum is to buy the Roma Pass (EUR 34 approx) and visit both Palatine Hill, Roman Forum and Colloseum without standing in a queue.

4. See the historic city at night.

5. Do go all touristy and buy a Rome or Italia tee shirt.

5. Carry enough things for snacking including a water bottle since it will there is a lot of walking around to do.

6. Visit the Pantheon in the evening, it is most magical and have a cuppa while you enjoy the view.

7. Think/Search/Find about airport transfers before you reach there. There are plenty of shuttles that can drop you off to the city.

8. Eat plento of Gelato, its cheap and delicious!

9. Dine around Piazza Navona or the Spanish Steps.

10. Visit the Sistine Chapel.
